The Pierre system supports a wide range of compatible relays, including both mechanical and solid-state relays (SSR), which can be used to control various devices within the smart home ecosystem. These relays are essential for managing power to connected devices, offering flexible control for different load capacities.
Mechanical and Solid-State Relays:
Pierre supports a variety of mechanical relays and SSR relays. However, we highly recommend using Pierre’s Relay Boards, as they are equipped with additional electronics to prevent current leakage and are safeguarded by integrated fuses to protect the system.
Examples of Compatible Relays:
Mechanical Relays
Schrack YRT78626 + Schrack RT314012 (12VDC 16A):
This combination of Schrack relays is fully compatible with the Pierre system and offers reliable performance for various applications. The Schrack RT314012 is a 16A 12VDC mechanical relay that can be paired with the YRT78626 terminal socket.
Schrack YRT78626 + Schrack RT314730 (230VAC 16A):
This combination of Schrack relays is fully compatible with the Pierre system where using the output relays of the Pierre Displays are necessary. Offers reliable performance for various applications. The Schrack RT314730 is a 16A 230VAC mechanical relay that can be paired with the YRT78626 terminal socket.

Why use a solid-state relay (SSR)?
Solid-state relays have a longer lifespan and operate silently, making them ideal for many applications.
What happens if one relay in the relay board fails?
PIERRE relay boards use high-quality relays with additional safety features. If one relay fails, you can either replace the entire board or, if possible, use another output.
